British made cotton socks.
For every pair bought, Jollie Goods give a pair of hardy socks to your local homeless charity.
Ingredients: 80% combed cotton, 20% nylon finished with a hand linked toe and packaged in a recyclable tin can.
Jollie Goods was founded by Ed Vickers who, whilst a student at University, became frustrated when walking past the same people every day who were sleeping rough and not knowing how he could help. This frustration led him to help out at a homeless charity on Saturday mornings where he soon realised the serious demand for fresh pairs of socks. He saw how far a simple change of socks could go in looking after the foot health and hygiene of the visitors.
For every pair of Jollie Goods socks sold, a pair of socks is donated to over 30 homeless charities and projects in Britain. Quite simply, spare pairs of fresh, hardy socks go a long way to help keep the feet of those living in tough conditions clean, healthy and warm.
Socks are a very small step in the long journey to helping those facing homelessness, but Jollie Goods see it as our mission to do what we can to help look after the feet of those trying to get back on them.
Jollie Goods work really closely with their manufacturers up in Leicester, UK. They”re particular fans, not only because they sometimes let us play on their machines, but because they are a family run British company passionate about making amazing socks. Its fair to say they’re also quite a Jollie bunch.
